Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Workers at Lockheed Martin just got a little busier. The company has won a million dollar contract to build a radar system for the U.S. Army.

The $391-million project will be one of four in the nation to work on the 33 radar units.

The project is expected to be done by the end of 2014. Plus, the Army has the option to buy another 38 units, which could more than double the contract.
