Lohan charged with leaving scene of NYC accident

NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD says actress Lindsay Lohan has been arrested on charges that she clipped a pedestrian with her car and did not stop.

Police say Lohan was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday as she left a nightclub at the Dream Hotel on 16th Street in Lower Manhattan.

Police say no alcohol was involved.

She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury.

Police say she was driving slowly through an alley between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime Hotel when the incident occurred.

The victim called 911. He was treated at a hospital for a knee injury and released.
