Mac users spend more on hotels

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you’re planning a trip, your computer may have some say in how much you spend.

The site Orbitz says its customers who use Mac computers spend about 30 percent more for hotels per night when booking. Orbitz also found Mac users are about 40 percent more likely to book a four-star or five-star hotel.

The travel agency stresses that it does not show the same rooms to Mac and Windows users with different prices.
