Madison County teen charged with assaulting, holding woman against her will

West Edmeston (WSYR-TV) – A Madison County teenager has been arrested by State Police who say he held a woman against her will for more than a week.

Police began investigating the alleged incident when the 18-year-old victim arrived at Hamilton Community Hospital on Feb. 24 with severe bruises on her face and body.

She told police that 17-year-old Jordan Plows of Baldwin Road in West Edmeston had held her against her will from Feb. 16 through Feb. 24. Police say Plows assaulted the woman during that time.

The victim finally escaped in a pick-up truck, but ran off the road and hit a tree. She was able to walk to a nearby house to get help.

Plows was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony; and menacing in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal mischief, all misdemeanors.

He was arraigned in Town of Brookfield Court and taken to Madison County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
