Oneida County (WSYR-TV) – A man who police wanted to question about a deadly stabbing in Oneida County is now accused of kicking the wife of the stabbing victim.

36-year-old Frank Aiello of Holland Patent turned himself in to Oneida County Sheriff’s Investigators on Monday.

On September 8, Joseph Andrewski was stabbed during an altercation at the Taberg American Legion Hall on Main Street in the town of Annsville. He died two days later at Upstate University Hospital.

Tuesday, Aiello was charged with assault by the Sheriff’s Office. He is accused of kicking Julie Andrewski in the face as she tried to help her husband following the stabbing.

Aiello was arraigned in the Town of Annsville Court on the assault charges and posted bail.

The Sheriffs Office says that Aiello was also turned over to Utica Police and Herkimer Police where he had warrants out for his arrest.

29-year-old Jeremiah Cullen was also stabbed during the incident on September 8. He was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
