Man arrested in Rome after sex abuse investigation
ROME, NY (WSYR-TV) - A Rome man is in custody on Saturday after a lengthy sexual assault investigation in Oneida County.
Rome Police arrested 47-year-old Jeffrey Strebing and charged him with Sexual Abuse in the first degree after an incident in Rome this past summer.
The victim was under the age of 13.
Strebing was arraigned in Rome City Court Friday evening and is being held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility without bail.
Strebing is scheduled for a court date on Monday.
