Man charged in connection with copper thefts at Fort Drum
Jefferson County (WSYR-TV) -- Police have arrested a man accused of stealing copper wire and copper tubing from two homes that were under construction on Fort Drum in the town of Le Ray.
It’s a crime trend NewsChannel 9 has been telling you about for months.
State Police arrested 22-year-old Shane Henry, of Copenhangen, in connection with the thefts.
Henry has been charged with felony grand larceny and will be back in court next week.
