Redfield (WSYR-TV) - A 25-year-old man is under arrest after police say he drove drunk and caused a deadly crash Tuesday night in Redfield.

Bryant Jolly, of Bernhards Bay, faces charges of vehicular manslaughter and DWI.

Police say Jolly was heading east on County Route 2 in the Town of Redfield when he failed to stop at an intersection and hit a utility pole at about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.

The crash killed his passenger, 26-year-old James Herr, also of Bernhards Bay.

He was arrested Wednesday and arraigned in Richland Town Court; he was then sent to Oswego County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
