Man dies after snowmobile crash in Herkimer County
OHIO, NY (WSYR-TV) - A man is dead after a snowmobile crash in Herkimer County Saturday night.
State Police said it happened at about 10:30 p.m. near Jones Road, Trail C4 in the Town of Ohio.
Troopers said 47-year-old Scott Streeter of Frankfort, NY was riding on the trail when he lost control on a curve. Streeter was thrown from the snowmobile and hit a tree.
He was pronounced dead a the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
