Hamilton (WSYR-TV) - State police are investigating a deadly accident along Hamilton Road in the Madison County Town of Hamilton.
Troopers say at about 4:00 p.m. Monday, Brock A. Diamond, 35, of Earlville, was driving a 2007 Kia Sportage south on Hamilton Road when he crossed into the path of a 2007 Ford pickup truck, which was driven by 43-year-old David Crumb of Hubbardsville.
State police believe Diamond was trying to turn onto Kiley Road from Hamilton when he did not yield to Crumb, and struck him head-on.
Diamond died of his injuries, while Crumb suffered minor injuries and was taken to Madison-Community Memorial Hospital for treatment.
