Rochester (WSYR-TV) – A Rochester man is free nearly 16 years after he raped and impregnated a patient at a nursing home.
John Horace registered as a Level II sex offender after his stint in the Franklin Correctional Facility.
Horace was working as a physician’s aide at a nursing home in the Rochester suburb of Brighton in 1995 when he raped the woman.
The comatose woman, whose identity has not been revealed, gave birth to the child. The birth is the only one of its kind, according to Rochester media outlets including
WROC-TV and
the Democrat & Chronicle.
