Manning to be sentenced on Wednesday in Wikileaks case
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A military judge will announce Wednesday morning what sentence she will hand down against Bradley Manning.
The former Fort Drum soldier faces up to 90 years behind bars for the largest leak of classified information about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The judge reconvened the sentencing phase Tuesday morning and noted the soldier has more than 1,000 days detention credit to consider.
Manning's defense attorney has argued he deserves additional consideration for harsh conditions during part of that detention.
