Quantico, Va. (WSYR-TV) – Three people are dead, including the suspect, after an overnight shooting incident at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia.

The suspect, a male Marine, was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to an ABC News report.

Gunfire erupted around 11 p.m. on Thursday when the suspect allegedly killed another male Marine.

Marine Lt. Agustin Solivan told ABC News that local police and military personnel isolated the gunman in a barracks.

When they entered the barracks, they found a dead female Marine.

The base was locked down until 3 a.m.

The victims’ identities have not been released.
