Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Former Governor and Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee will be in Syracuse this October. The New York State Conservative Party asked him to be the keynote speaker at their awards dinner.
Huckabee has written six books and currently hosts the show “Huckabee” on the Fox News Channel. He was a presidential candidate in 2008.
Huckabee will help honor several local conservative public officials at the dinner, including: Hon. Peter Corning of Cayuga County, Larry Longway of Oneida County, Hon. Raymond Meier of Onondaga County, Hon. Nicholas Pirro of Onondaga County and Hon. Douglas Barclay of Oswego County.
The event is scheduled for October 27th at the Holiday Inn in Syracuse.
