Syracuse (WSYR-TV) Mayor elect Stephanie Miner announced the members of her transition team early Sunday morning, showing bipartisanship in her shift.
More than 80 men and women will serve on seven themed committees and report to Miner about subjects like education, public safety, sustainability, government efficiency, community development, and arts.
The Co-Chairs of the Democrat's team are J. Patrick Barrett, former CEO of Avis, John Feinblatt, former Criminal Justice Coordinator for the Mayor Bloomberg of New York City, and M. Catherine Richardson, a local attorney. Two out of the three are Republicans.
Miner says current mayor Matt Driscoll will help her team with moving her in before she takes office on January first.
