More people expected to spend money on Halloween this year

(CNN) - Americans apparently aren't too scared to spend money on Halloween this year.

According to the National Retail Federation
, 7 in 10 Americans are expected to spend big next month. That's a ten year high.

Consumers are expected to shell out more money on costumes, decorations and candy this year, driving total Halloween sales to $8-billion.
