Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Up until this morning, most Central New York school districts had yet to use a single snow day this winter.  Now, some districts are faced with possibly having to give those unused days off back to students and staff.

Each school district has different policies about what to do with unused snow days. Some give them back to students and teachers in the form of extended Memorial Day Weekends or spring breaks.  Others will shorten days at the end of the year.
