Munnsville woman killed in Oneida County crash
Westmoreland (WSYR-TV) – A Munnsville woman is dead after a two-car collision in Oneida County on Friday morning.
20-year-old Heather Nazel was killed when her vehicle passed into oncoming traffic on Route 5 in Westmoreland and hit a car and then a utility pole, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Nazel had to be pulled out of her car. Both Nazel and the other driver were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Hospital staff pronounced Nazel dead.
The other driver was released with minor injuries.
No tickets were issued.
