Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- An alert neighbor helped Syracuse Police nab a burglary suspect Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a neighbor reported seeing a white man trying to get into his neighbor’s home through a window in the 200 block of Herriman Street just before noon.

Shortly thereafter, the suspect was caught by police walking along Herriman Street carrying a television and pillow case full of smaller items.

Police have identified the suspect as 21-year-old Mario Correa, of Syracuse.

Police say they were able to recover all the items stolen in the burglary.

Correa has been charged with burglary, petit larceny and criminal mischief. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
