New Haven (WSYR-TV) -- State and local police departments uncovered a methamphetamine manufacturing operation during a search of a New Haven Residence on Thursday.

Police have arrested two people in connection with the search. Brian J. Lamond and Stephanie A. Holt-Ostrander, or 3882 County Route 6, have been charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the third degree – a class D Felony.

The search was conducted with the assistance of the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and the New York State Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) due to the volatile nature of the chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.

The DEC also assisted with the disposal of the substances.

Ostrander and Lamond are being held at the Oswego County Correctional Facility until their next court appearance on March 16, 2012.

Ostrander is being held in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 secure bail bond. Lamond is being held in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 secure bail bond.

An investigation continues and additional charges are anticipated.
