New pedestrian bridge to Carousel Center approved
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The Syracuse Common Council has approved construction of a pedestrian bridge to the Carousel Center.
It was approved by a vote of 9-0.
The bridge will stretch from the outer parking lots across Hiawatha Boulevard to the new mall expansion.
The construction will require some lane closures, but they are expected to be for only a few hours at night.
Destiny USA will install, own and maintain the bridge.
