Newest patas monkey’s name announced
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The zoo’s newest addition to its popular patas monkey family has a name – Zarina.
Rosamond Gifford Zoo also revealed the monkey’s gender, female.
7-year-old Marishka Biela of Bernhard’s Bay submitted the winning name.
Zarina was born on Nov. 30. She is the second baby born to Sara and MJ. Her brother, Ty, was born on Jan. 17.
Zarina also has two half sisters, DJ and Kibibi.
