Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A North Syracuse man has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a deadly drunk driving incident that took the life of Edward Warner in October 2011.

Harry McLeod, 59, will spend the next four to 12 years behind bars after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter.

In October, McLeod was drunk while driving along Route 11 in the town of Salina when his car struck Warner’s vehicle. Warner died four days later as a result of his injuries.

When McLeod was charged, investigators said he was driving without his headlights on when the victim made a left-hand turn in front of the North Syracuse man’s car.
