Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A North Syracuse man who killed another driver in a drunken crash last fall was sentenced on Wednesday morning.

Harry McLeod, 59, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter, will spend the next four to 12 years in prison.

McLeod was driving along Route 11 in the town of Salina without his lights on. When Edward Warner turned left into a Delta Sonic location, his car collided with McLeod’s.

Warner died as a result of injuries he sustained in the accident.

McLeod expressed remorse during his sentencing, but Warner's son said his apology was difficult to accept.
