One woman seriously injured after Verona crash
VERONA, NY (WSYR-TV) – State Police are investigating a crash that left one woman with serious injuries.
It happened just after 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
Police say 28-year-old Amanda Trepasso was driving her car east on Route 365 in Verona when she tried to make a U-turn near the entrance to the Turning Stone Casino.
According to police, Trepasso failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming SUV.
The impact of the crash sent Trepasso’s car into a fence.
A 28-year-old woman in Trepasso’s car was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious head and internal injuries.
Trepasso was also taken to Upstate University Hospital. She is being treated for neck and back pain.
The driver of the SUV and his three passengers were evaluated at Oneida Healthcare.
State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
