Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – An Oneida County man was sentenced to more than six decades in prison for sexually abusing a girl and then manufacturing images and videos of the abuse.
Brett Salmon, 43, of the town of Lee, was sentenced to a total of 65 years. If he’s ever released from prison, Salmon will spend the rest of his life under supervised release and will have to register as a sex offender.
In March 2011,
Salmon pleaded guilty to four counts of producing child pornography. He admitted at the time that he sexually abused the child over the course of two years.
The month before, investigators found images and video depicting his abuse of the child. They also found more than 100 images depicting other children that he obtained through an Internet distribution network known as Utorrent.
