Oswego County child rape suspect nabbed in Arizona

Oswego (WSYR-TV) – A man wanted on rape and child endangerment charges in Oswego County is in custody after being arrested in Arizona.

An arrest warrant for 41-year-old Tony Hollenbeck of Phoenix, Ariz., was issued on July 19. He was picked up by police in Arizona who contacted the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 1. He lived in Oswego County before moving to Arizona.

He was charged at the Oswego County Correctional Facility on Thursday after being extradited.

The rape charge is a class B felony.

He was arraigned in Oswego County Court and is being held at the jail without bail.
