Oswego County man accused of sex crimes involving children

Scriba (WSYR-TV) – An Oswego County man has been arrested on charges that he had sexual contact with two young girls.

In addition, State Police say the man used his cell phone to record the children, who were both under the age of 11, changing their clothes and showering.

Shane Haresign, 35, of 157 Myers Rd., has been charged with:

  • 2 counts of sex abuse in the first degree, a felony
  • 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor
  • 1 count of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, a felony

He was arraigned in Town of Scriba Court and taken to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 13.
