Oswego (WSYR-TV) – A town of Oswego man is being held without bail after the sheriff’s office says he strangled his wife to death in their home Wednesday night.
56-year-old Robert Moshier lived at 55 Siembor Dr. with his wife, 43-year-old Theresa Moshier, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies went to the home around 9:15 p.m. after reports of a domestic incident at the home, and found Theresa Moshier body in a bedroom.
Robert Moshier was interviewed by deputies, who determined he apparently killed his wife.
Moshier was charged with Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Manslaughter, Unlawful Imprisonment, and Strangulation.
So far, the sheriff’s office says the investigation shows no record of past violence or past police calls.
He was arraigned and sent to the Oswego County Jail. He is scheduled to be back in court on August 19.
