Oswego Health purchases former Lifetime Health Building

Central Square (WSYR-TV) – Oswego Health has expanded its presence in Oswego County with the purchase of the former Lifetime Health Building in Central Square.

The new facility will provide urgent care and outpatient services to in the Central Square area when it opens later this year.

Oswego Health bought the building at 3045 East Ave. (Route 49) on April 9 for an undisclosed price.

Construction plans for the former Lifetime Health Building have not been finalized, but it will be completely renovated. In addition to urgent care, the facility will provide medical imaging, lab, and physical therapy services.

In September 2009, Oswego Health, Northern Oswego County Health Services, and Oswego County Opportunities were collectively awarded $8.34 million in HEAL NY funds to develop an urgent care center in Central Square and to create a primary care network in Oswego County to maintain and improve access to outpatient healthcare services.
