Oswego woman caught on camera encouraging fight between two juveniles

Oswego (WSYR-TV) -- A 40-year-old Oswego woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment after police say she was caught on camera encouraging a fight between two juveniles on Sunday.

Police responded to the fight at around 7 p.m. and during an investigation a video of the fight showing the woman – identified as Aimie Loughrey – verbally encouraging the dispute.

Loughrey was released and issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Oswego City Court on March 28.

In addition, police say there were able to identify the juvenile who they say was the aggressor in the fight. The juvenile’s age and identity are not being released, however, he will be processed through the juvenile justice system.
