Liverpool (WSYR-TV) – Temperatures today may not be a record high, but it was warm enough for many people to get outside and enjoy it.
Onondaga Lake Park was certainly full of people doing what most would on a 70-degree day - even if it is almost mid-November.
Eileen Coyle, who took her son Ryan to the park, said, "Well with the winter coming you don't get too many more days like this so I wanted to take advantage of it and take my son to the park."
Robert Long wasn't going to waste the chance to get his granddaughter some extra bike riding time at the park. "This kind of weather you never know in Syracuse, I've lived here all my life, you gotta be prepared, it's great we're having a ball," said Long
Kathy Joyce, who was walking at the park, "My daughter lives out in California, I was telling here, she lives in Palm Springs, I said we've got Palm Springs weather here today."
Danielle Patterson, another park visitor, said, "It's beautiful, we wanted to get out and enjoy the last nice day of the season, get some good exercise in, get some fresh air."
Pretty much everything is in place for Lights on the Lake, but all anyone was really worrying about today was this beautiful weather.
