NEW YORK (AP) - In her latest broadcast interview, Sarah Palin tells Barbara Walters that running for president in 2012 is "not on my radar screen."

However, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor isn't ruling out playing a major role in the next presidential election if, in her words, "people will have me."

Palin's interview with Walters on ABC follows yesterday's broadcast of a taped interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" as part of her current tour to promote her book "Going Rogue."

In the interview, Palin gives President Barack Obama's performance thus far a four on a scale of 10.

She rules out an appearance on David Letterman's show on CBS following her criticism of Letterman last year for what she said were Letterman's sexually suggestive jokes about one of her daughters.

And she tells Walters that despite the internal struggles within the McCain-Palin campaign and the ultimate loss, she'd do it again "in a heartbeat."
