SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - Missing since 2005, Larry Stackhouse Jr. of Syracuse will turn 27 on Monday. His parents tell NewsChannel 9 that the search for Larry is far from over.
Stackhouse Jr. went to a CBA basketball game in December of 2005 and never returned home.
Recently, the discovery of Michelle Knight, Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry in Cleveland has given the Stackhouse family hope
Larry Stackhouse Sr. said, "Everyday we're out there searching, we will never give up. The issue in Cleveland gives us hope."
Stackhouse Sr. is confident they're nearing a resolution in the case. He's convinced they are narrowing in on those who are responsibly. He said, "We know there's people out there that know what happened to him. They're just not coming forward."
Syracuse Police says the search is still active and ongoing. They encourage anyone with information or tips in the case to call 315-442-5222.
