Pedestrian dead after being struck by tractor trailer
Cortlandville (WSYR-TV) – A man died late Sunday night after being struck by a tractor trailer on I-81 in Cortland County.
According to State Police, the man was trying to cross the interstate on foot when he was hit by the vehicle around 10 p.m. in Cortlandville.
Police have not identified the victim. They say their investigation into the incident is still in its early stages.
The tractor trailer driver has not been ticketed.
