Police: Henninger student pointed a BB gun at another student, resisted arrest
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police have charged a Henninger High School student after responding to a report that gun had been drawn at the school.
When police responded to the scene around 3:50 p.m., they discovered that a 16-year-old student had taken what appeared to be a gun out of his waistband and pointed it at a female student’s head.
Police said it became apparent that the student had a BB gun.
When police tried to arrest the teenager, he fought back.
He was charged with a violation for having a BB gun on school grounds.
The student was also charged with resisting arrest.
The female student declined to press charges against the teen.
The Syracuse City School District said the principal spoke with the parents of all students involved in the incident.
