SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Midland Avenue and Furman Avenue on Sunday.
Police say a 55-year-old man was walking home from the store at Midland Avenue and Kennedy Street when he was approached by the suspect.
Police say the suspect threatened the victim with a knife, cut the victim's hand and took the victim's cash.
The suspect was last seen running on Furman Street toward South Salina Street.
He is described as a black man, about 30 to 35 years old, 5'7'' tall, has a medium build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a brown coat and a baseball hat.
