Police: Norwich man faces Grand Larceny charges after selling stolen John Deere tractor
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Norwich man has been arrested after the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office says he stole a tractor and sold it.
26-year-old John Hunt is accused of going onto Norwich Meadows Farms on Aug. 30 and driving off in a 2007 John Deere tractor valued between $12,000 and $15,000.
Deputies say Hunt then met another person at a different location and sold the tractor to him for an undisclosed amount.
The tractor was located by deputies on a trailer heading out of the area.
Hunt was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree.
