Oneida (WSYR-TV) – An Oneida woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after police say they discovered she kept cocaine in her child’s crib.
Around 6 a.m., Kaila Lohr, 23, 309 N. Lake St., Apt. 2, was arrested on charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
According to police, Lohr stored 8.5 grams of cocaine concealed in a container in the child’s crib. Two children under the age of 6 were present in the house along with the cocaine.
Lohr was arraigned and taken to the Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $2500 cash or $5000 bond.
She is scheduled to return to Oneida City Court on Jan. 13.
The children were placed in the care of other family members.
