Fulton (WSYR-TV) – Police arrested three men after they say the suspects broke into a home and one of them struck a female victim with a wine bottle.
State Police say a female victim returned to her home on Phinney Road in the town of Granby to find three men who broke into her residence and were attempting to steal property Friday afternoon.
The victim told officials she confronted the three suspects who were unknown to her and after she called 911, a struggle ensued as she attempted to restrain them.
During the struggle, one of the suspects is accused of striking the victim in the head with a bottle of wine that he was allegedly stealing from the home.
State Police say the victim was able to keep one of the subjects at the home until troopers arrived.
The following have been arrested for Burglary 1st Degree, a class B felony:
- 20-year-old Jessie Walden, of 30 Best Drive in Fulton
- 20-year-old Stephen Hagen, of 30 Best Drive in Fulton
- The third suspect arrested was a 17-year-old male from Hannibal in the town of Granby
Jessie Walden was additionally charged with Assault 2nd Degree, a class D felony for allegedly striking the female in the head with the bottle of wine.
Police say the victim received a laceration to her forehead that required medical attention at Oswego Hospital where she was treated and released.
All three subjects were arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail on $7,500 cash/$15,000 bond.
