Police identify Geneva murder victim
Geneva (WSYR-TV) -- Police have identified a man who was shot to death outside a home in Geneva this past weekend.
The shooting happened Saturday morning at a home on North Genesee Street.
Police say 34-year-old Damon Thomas was hit once in the shoulder. He later died of his injuries.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say they were able to follow tracks in the snow, which led them to suspect 26-year-old Larry Mallard.
Mallard is charged with second degree murder.
He’s being held without bail at the Ontario County Jail.
