Police identify man who died after being found unconscious in a North Side convenience store
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police have identified a man who died after being found unconscious at a North Side convenience store on Wednesday night.
Police say they were responding to a “disturbance” at Dully’s Express Market on Second North Street when they found 39-year-old Basilio Ortiz unconscious.
Officers immediately began CPR on the man until emergency personnel arrived.
Ortiz was then taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he later died.
The incident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to call them at 442-5222.
