Police identify motorcyclist killed in James Street crash

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police have identified a man who died after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a stopped vehicle and threw him into oncoming traffic on James Street Wednesday night.
Police say 38-year-old Benjamin Koss was taken to Upstate University Hospital after the accident near the intersection with Sedgwick Street, but he succumbed to his injuries overnight.
They say after Koss’ motorcycle hit the back of the Dodge Durango, he was launched from the bike and then hit by an Audi.
The other drivers were not injured.
Police are still investigating the crash.
