Police looking for man who reportedly had a gun near Lemoyne Manor

Liverpool (WSYR-TV) -- Authorities in Onondaga County are looking for a man who was seen near Lemoyne Manor in Liverpool with a gun on Tuesday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man has been identified as parolee Scott Fetzer. Fetzer, 26, is a resident at Lemoyne Manor.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home at around 4 p.m. for reports of a man with a gun. Prior to the deputies’ arrival, Fetzer was confronted by an employee of the hotel and the gun was confiscated. He then fled the area in an unknown direction.

As a convicted felon, Fetzer is prohibited from having any type of firearm.

Fetzer (pictured) is described as a white man, 5’8”, 170 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Investigators believe Fetzer is unarmed, but are asking that anyone who may know where he is to call 911 and not approach him.
