Victory, Cayuga County (WSYR-TV) - State police have identified the man killed in an accident Tuesday afternoon in the Cayuga County Town of Victory.

Troopers say 80-year-old Conrad Strassle of Port Byron was a passenger in a Honda CRV that collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Routes 38 and 370.

Investigators say the Honda CRV driver, 73-year-old Harriet Hannon of Oswego, ran the stop sign at the intersection, and her vehicle collided with a pickup driven by 40-year-old James Foran of Chittenango.

Strassle was pronounced dead at Auburn Memorial Hospital; both drivers were taken to University Hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening.

Three others riding in the truck escaped injury.

Troopers say tickets are pending.
