Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are searching for a man they say robbed the M&T Bank located at 4726 Onondaga Boulevard Monday afternoon.

Police say it was around 12:30 p.m. when the suspect entered the back and handed the teller a threatening note, demanding money. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running westbound on Onondaga Blvd. towards Mayson Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a green hooded jacket with a NY Jets emblem on the chest, gloves, and a black half mask covering his face.

Police believe this robbery and one at an Alliance Bank last week may be related.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Syracuse Police Department at 442-5222. All calls are kept confidential.
