Police say bathroom dispute led to machete attack

Utica (WSYR-TV) – Police have arrested a Utica man who they say attacked a fellow tenant with a machete during a dispute over a shared bathroom.

Police say they responded to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital on Saturday night after an incident was reported in which a victim was cut on the wrists and face.

They charged Gary Bryan, 29, of Columbia Street in Utica, with assault in the second degree, a felony.
