Syracuse, New York (WSYR-TV) - Another potential replacement for Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate paid a visit to Syracuse Monday.
Congressman Steve Israel (D-Long Island) spoke with Mayor Matt Driscoll. Israel wouldn't say much about the Senate seat, except to say he's been told he is on Governor Paterson's "short list" of possible replacements.
During his central New York visit, Israel emphasized his experience, and added that it was not his first visit to Syracuse.
