Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Strong storms rolled through the region Saturday afternoon, bringing drenching rains and lightning strikes.

Fans of blues music in downtown Syracuse had to run for cover as the rain started to fall.  Tents have been set up to try to keep Blues Festival fans as dry as possible.

There have also been reports of lightning strikes, including a transformer along Howlett Hill and Cedarvale Roads.  A portion of the road was shut down to allow emergency crews and National Grid access to the scene.

If you get severe weather in your neighborhood, send your photos to 9WSYR.COM.  We'll be using the best ones on the air.
