Onondaga County (WSYR-TV) -- Authorities in Onondaga County are investigating a recent rash in break-ins at local self-storage facilities.

According to Sheriff Kevin Walsh, three self-storage facilities have been broken into over the past two weeks during the overnight hours.

In each of the three incidents, the suspect stole a variety of property, such as electronics and tools.

Authorities say five storage units were broken into at the B&C Storage facility, located at 2732 West Entry Road on March 12.

That same day, 12 units were also broken into at the Store More Pay Less facility, located at 7029 Van Buren Road.

About a week and a half later on the 22nd, authorities say 48 units at the Uncle Bob’s Self Storage facility, located at 8239 Thompson Road were also broken into.

Detectives working the case believe the incidents are related and believe the suspect is a white male, operating a dark colored SUV.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 435-3081.
